Using Boofoll (site and app) means you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Boofoll aggregates job listings from public sources (including Germany's Federal Employment Agency, Bundesagentur für Arbeit) and computes a compatibility score between your professional profile and each job using language processing/AI. The service can also generate tailored resume versions, depending on your plan.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Boofoll offers a free plan (Free) and paid plans (Radar, Candidato, Premium), billed recurringly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time via the subscription portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period.

Free-plan accounts see ads (Google AdSense/AdMob) inside the logged-in app area, as part of the free tier's monetization model. Paid-plan accounts (Radar, Candidato, Premium) do not see ads.

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to access other users' accounts, not to reverse-engineer the service, and not to automate use of the platform in a way that overloads or harms the service for other users.

Boofoll and its brand, design, and code are owned by its operators. Your resume and profile data remain your property — we only use that data to provide the service to you.

Displayed job listings come from third-party sources (e.g. Bundesagentur für Arbeit) and may contain outdated, incomplete, or incorrect information from the original poster. Boofoll does not guarantee job availability, employer response, or application outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boofoll is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, including lost job opportunities.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the service operator, without prejudice to consumer protection rights guaranteed by European Union law to users resident in the EU.

At your explicit request, Boofoll can generate a tailored version of your resume (CV) for a specific job, using artificial intelligence based on information you provided — whether submitted when you first uploaded your resume during onboarding, or added later through profile edits. This feature is a productivity tool that organizes and rewrites content; it does not replace your own review, and it does not create new facts about your professional background.

You are solely and entirely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and up-to-dateness of all information you provide to Boofoll, including work experience, education, certifications, skills, languages, and any other information entered during onboarding or in your profile. Boofoll does not verify, audit, validate, or confirm the truthfulness of any information you provide, and has no technical or contractual means to do so.

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or unintended changes introduced during the adaptation process — for example, rewording that subtly shifts the original meaning, or an incorrect combination of information. You are therefore required to carefully review, in full, any resume generated by Boofoll before using it, submitting it to any employer, recruiter, or job platform, or otherwise applying to a job based on it. Boofoll does not perform that review on your behalf and does not guarantee the generated document is free of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boofoll, its operators, partners, staff, and service providers are not liable for any damage, loss, or consequence — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from the use of a resume generated or tailored by the platform, including, without limitation, rejection in a hiring process, termination of employment, dismissal for cause, disciplinary action, legal action brought by an employer, harm to professional reputation, or any other consequence resulting, in whole or in part, from false, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading information contained in the generated resume — regardless of whether that information was originally provided by you or resulted from an error, omission, or change introduced by the AI processing during adaptation.

By generating a tailored resume, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Boofoll, its operators, partners, staff, and service providers from and against any claims, notices, judicial or extrajudicial proceedings, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of, or related to, false, inaccurate, or misleading information you provided to Boofoll or that appears in a resume generated from that information, including claims brought by third parties (such as a current or former employer).

Because this feature has meaningful implications for your professional life, Boofoll requires your explicit, informed, specific consent before each tailored-resume generation — simply accepting these Terms of Service at signup is not sufficient. That consent is presented on its own screen before generation, with the essential content described in this section, and is recorded with the version of the text accepted, date, and time, linked to the job and the generated document, for proof and future audit purposes, including in any dispute over what was communicated to and accepted by you.

This document is reference material and does not replace individualized legal advice; if you have questions about the legal implications of using AI-generated content in hiring processes in your destination country, we recommend consulting a qualified professional before applying to a job.

No information, guidance, or content generated by Boofoll — including the tailored resume, the compatibility explanation, or any suggestion shown on the platform — constitutes a guarantee of outcome. Boofoll does not guarantee that you will be invited to interview, be approved in a hiring process, be hired, or retain any resulting employment, regardless of the accuracy of the information provided or the quality of the generated resume.

This section and the provisions of section 12 apply to all AI-generated content made available by Boofoll, whether current or future — including, without limitation, resume (CV), cover letter, compatibility explanations, and any other document or text generated from your profile — regardless of your subscription plan or whether the feature is named in these Terms at the time you use it.

Some resume templates offered by Boofoll (for example, the German format, Lebenslauf) allow you to voluntarily include additional personal data, such as a photo, date of birth, nationality, work-visa status, or degree-recognition status. Including that data is always your choice, never a Boofoll requirement — we only reproduce, in the generated document, what you chose to add to your profile. You are responsible for assessing whether it is appropriate, advisable, or required to include this type of information for the labor market and country you are applying to, including in light of any local anti-discrimination rules that may apply to hiring processes.

Boofoll is not a law firm, immigration consultancy, or career advisory service, and no content on the platform — including AI-generated text, educational materials, or communications from our support team — should be construed as individualized legal, employment, immigration, or professional advice. Decisions about how to apply, what to state in hiring processes, or how to handle legal work and immigration requirements in your destination country are your sole responsibility.

You may request, at any time by contacting us through the channels listed in section 14, access to the consent records associated with your account, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Those records are retained for as long as necessary for proof and legal-compliance purposes, even after your account is closed, unless applicable law requires a different retention period.

If the content of this section 13 or section 12 is revised in a way that materially changes the obligations or disclaimers described in it, a new version will be published with an updated effective date, and Boofoll will again require your explicit consent before the next generation of AI content — consent given to a previous version of the text does not automatically extend to later versions.

If any provision of section 12 or 13 is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the affected provision will be interpreted to reflect, to the greatest extent possible, the parties' original intent. Boofoll's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
